THE DAY OUR STORY BEGAN.
Islã Gal was born out of a love affair with nature; an obsession with its power to create nothing without a purpose.
We are here to encourage you to discover the importance of self-care - everything you do deliberately for your well-being. Self-care encourages you to maintain a healthy relationship with yourself. We understand this journey is personal, and no general principle will always work, but through our products we hope you can become the best version of yourself!
Each creation emerges from a feeling and is actualized through a natural blending of botanicals. The ingredients used in our offerings are simple and not complex — made with natural ethically-sourced ingredients, and enriched with premium plant-based oils. Our philosophy is not to add anything to our products to make them stand out; instead, we pare each formula down to the most essential, natural, and active ingredients. We make quality offerings that are vegan — cleansing, supplementing, and nurturing the body — naturally. We think natural and uncomplicated is universally sexy, don't you?
Our mission is to demystify beauty through transparency and reconnect people to their roots through a plant-body connection.

Our products only contain pure and purposeful ingredients that are sourced from the finest locations. We formulate our products using ingredients rich in nutrients and vitamins, so that nothing needs to be added or manufactured in a lab. We always keep you in mind.

Meet Founder,
MarKeisha Snaith.
A native of Northern Virginia and Jamaica, I grew up surrounded by holistic practices. At an early age my mother was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) - a disease of the central nervous system (CNS) that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, causing the body’s immune system to respond against the CNS. After withstanding multiple stays in the hospital, my mom eventually transferred into a rehabilitation center where she later passed away.
From that day I vowed to advocate for a better future; not just for myself, but for people and nature.
Seeing how majority of skin-and haircare products on the market are complex, containing chemicals and preservatives, I was tired of compromising my beauty, so I decided to craft my own products using clean, natural, and plant-powered ingredients. What began as an idea has become a full-fledged beauty line that doesn’t sacrifice efficacy.
The goal was always to develop offerings that were natural and uncomplicated, so we have chosen to only offer the essentials. We believe living well is a right for all. The world is always changing, but that doesn’t mean your skin- and haircare have to be compromised.
Being of Caribbean descent, I wanted to hone in on those holistic traditions and connect people to their roots - nature. We successfully deliver premium quality products which are diverse in function, suiting everybody and every body. This is beauty as nature intended.
